A virus, cannot attack a healthy cell. What we have to recognise is that a virus, bacteria or fungoes are all opportunists. They can only survive in an environment that is based on their chemistry. They have to live in an acidic environment. Therefore, the more we do to alkalise our system the more we can ensure that we will not be infected.
It isn’t easy to get sick
In practicality, this translates to the fact that a healthy person cannot be walking down the street and get attacked by a virus and get sick. It doesn’t work that way. A person that is infected is a person that is already in trouble.
Assume a person who isn’t well already. When she becomes exposed and the virus moves in and starts to colonies, then her system not only has to deal with the body’s current detoxification and healing process but now, on top of that a viral colony start growing inside the system in some way.

We dismiss and overlook.
First and foremost know that the odds are already on your side. That is if you are engaging in a healthy lifestyle, you are in high self-esteem, if you are eating foods that are alkalising to your diet and your system then you can pretty much and rest assured that you’ve got this. Painfully trivial.
The cleansing trend
Secondly, are you familiar with the cleansing juice trend? Here is why people do that. Know that all fruits and vegetables are alkalizing. Whether you are aware or not fruits are cleansers and therefore, you want to increase your vegetable intake more than increasing your fruit intake these days. That is because you don’t want to create a cleansing crisis in your system which dumps toxins into your bloodstream which in turn detoxify us through the sinuses, the lungs, the surface of the skin, through the bladder and the bowel.
Fruit cleanse detoxify that way and you will allow those surfaces of your system to become more acidic temporarily. Even though detoxification is good for you there is the right time for it. It’s not when we’re in the middle of a crisis of any sort.
So fruits and vegetables. Increase your vegetable more than fruits but increase your fruits as well – both will increase your alkalinity.

What is alkaline? – Alkalinity is the capacity of water to resist changes in pH that would make the water more acidic. According to United States Geological Survey (USGS), up to 60% of the human adult body is water so you can see the relevance here.
Spirulina natural habitat and pH – The spirulina natural habitat is ‘Soda Lake’. A soda lake is also called alkaline lake is a lake on the strongly alkaline side of neutrality, typically with a pH value between 9 and 12. They are characterized by high concentrations of carbonate salts, typically sodium carbonate (and related salt complexes), giving rise to their alkalinity. At the Spirulina farm, we imitate that environment, keeping high alkalinity, in a controlled safe environment.
What is pH? – a figure expressing the acidity or alkalinity of a solution on a scale on which 7 is neutral, lower values are more acid and higher values more alkaline.
Is lemon alkaline? – Lemon juice in its natural state is acidic with a pH of about 2, but once metabolized it becomes alkaline with a pH well above 7. So, outside the body, anyone can see that lemon juice is very acidic. However, once fully digested, its effect is proven to be alkalizing with many health benefits.
